These forums are here to provide you with a friendly environment where you can discuss ideas, exchange game play advice, role-play, and converse about any other aspects of TribeMu content with other players.

TribeMu forum is at its best when participants treat their fellow posters with respect and courtesy. Therefore, we ask that you conduct yourself in a civilized manner when participating in these forums.

The guidelines and rules listed below explain what behavior is expected of you and what behavior you can expect from other community members. Note that the following guidelines are not exhaustive, and may not address all manner of offensive behavior. As such, the forum moderators shall have full discretion to address any behavior that they feel is inappropriate. Also, suspension or banishment from the game will always result in the same with regard to forum access. Your access to these forums is a “privilege” and not a “right”.

TribeMu Forum Administrators and Forum Moderators reserve the right to suspend your access to these forums at anytime for reasons that include, but are not necessarily limited to your failure to abide by these guidelines.


Message posting:

* This is an international community forum so English is the only language allowed.

* Use the Search function before posting - Chances are your question has already been answered.

* Thread bumping / raising – If you wish to raise a thread up, do not post “+1” and/or “bump” as messages. As long as a thread is open it will be viewed by your fellow forumers. If you still wish to raise the thread, do post sensibly and state your reason for raising your thread/post.

* Do not use overly abusive language – We have a very liberal policy regarding language, but please try to be civil and courteous towards your fellow forumers. If you post is excessively vulgar, insulting, explicit, or a racial slur without any justification, we will promptly delete it.

* Flaming – Flaming or badmouthing an individual or group will not be tolerated. Accounts caught will be banned following sanctions for profanity.

* While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts. Our decision is final in these matters.

* While we understand that there will always be some “noise” in the form of bumps, greetings and so on in the forums, it is highly recommended that you keep your posts relevant to the topic being discussed. No one likes a senseless spammer.

* Racial or sexually explicit/oriented posts, be it insults or personal attacks will be deleted by forum Moderators and Administrators. This is a community message board, please be mindful on how you interact with your fellow forumers.

* 1337-speaking or LEET talk is not allowed – This is a community forum; please post your messages in a language that your fellow forumers will understand.

* Be sure to post in the proper forums – Topics will be moved to the right sub-forum but we will no longer retain the topic title in the forum where it was first posted.

* Do not post adult or R-18 themed materials, images or other mediums – Keep in mind that we also cater to younger audiences. Accounts caught will be permanently blocked.

* Endorsing or encouraging illicit activities such as Money trading, promotion of hack programs/websites, third party programs/websites, other private servers.

* We do not allow people to post threads or to send private messages or emails to users here that advertise or solicit any products, services, funds or donations. Explicit advertising and solicitating in signatures is also prohibited.

* The forum Administrator, forum Moderator and Game Master’s decisions are final – Avoid arguing with a moderator’s decision on public. Any disagreement must first be addressed to the moderator concerned via private message. Unresolved arguments must then be submitted to the forum administrator supported by the user and moderator’s positions. (Unless the forum Admin, Mod or GM initiated the argument.)

* When commenting artworks or reviewing web links, please try to be constructive in your criticism or praise. If your comments are found to be excessively insulting or vulgar, your account may be penalized.

* Excessive and unnecessary use of CAPITAL LETTERS and font size will not be tolerated. Accounts caught will be banned accordingly.


Image posting:

* Try to keep your images PG-13 - Tasteful nudity in the art forums is allowed on a case by case basis, but on the whole, it is a good idea to cater to range of audiences. This includes the very young

* It shouldn't be offensive in any way.
* Obscene pictures are not allowed.


Signatures

* Maximum font size: 5

* Images placed in the signature cannot be offensive in any way.

* Two images can be used in the signature.

* Advertising any private servers / forums either in the signature or hyper linking the signature or text is strongly prohibited. It will be resolve in signature deletion.

* Sites Exempted on hyperlink images,
o imageshack
o Flickr
o Deviantart
o Photobucket
o And any other web image hosting servers.

* Obscene pictures are not allowed.


Reporting Posts

* Please report Duplicate, Wrong Thread Placement and/or Offensive post/s by pressing the Report Button or through Private Messaging (PM) any Staff.

* Always give link to the thread you are reporting

* Do not post anything in the thread itself - this is considered bumping a dead topic or contributing to an offensive thread.

* In the case of spammers - do not reply to the thread or give them any attention apart from reporting by PM.
